《现代欧美戏剧史十讲》是为我校本科生量身打造的一门戏剧艺术方面的公共选修课程。《现代欧美戏剧史十讲》采用传统剧作史模式与剧场演出史相结合的办法，对1871-1945年间的欧美戏剧的发展历程，及促使其发生、发展的各方面因素，进而对每个时期、每个流派所表现出来的特有的艺术特征进行剖析。通过对戏剧故事的讲述、戏剧创作背后故事的讲述、社会变革故事的讲述以及演剧过程的讲述，培养学生对戏剧文学、戏剧舞台创作的敏感，提高戏剧批评的能力。

English Introduction：

Ten Lectures on Modern European and American Drama is an public elective course for undergraduates in HNU.This course adopts the teaching method that combine the history of traditional drama with theater performance. It not only analyzes the development of European and American drama from 1871 to 1945, and the factors that promote its occurrence and development, but also the unique artistic characteristics of each period and each school. Students' sensitivity to drama literature and drama stage creation is cultivated, and the ability of drama criticism is improved by the narration of drama story, the story behind the drama creation, the story of social change and the story of acting that evolves through time.
